I can confirm Kelley has been appointed deputy White House counsel.

Don't feel guilty. To sustain in the long run, you're going to want a format that does not burden or tire you. The great thing about what you are doing is that it could easily work as a monthly or bimonthly "publication of a really fun gossip magazine" blog rather than a more frequent "witty diary on a related set of topics" blog. You've already got readership and the right kind of attention. Enjoy it, and make your weblog meet your needs.

You have a lot of subject matter yet to mine, especially about the ways one becomes a clerk, the curious tale of a judge who trades Circuit Court immortality for a two year stint in goverment, and other curios.

I think that getting criticized on a greedy associates board is kind of a "red badge of courage". You know you've achieved the mainstream when you're famous enough to be slagged as not cool enough on message boards. It beats posting about whether California fourth year associate salaries are going to increase by 7 percent or 8 percent next year.

Love the blog. I was going to say, don't sell yourself short, but then I realized that's part of your charm. Ever read Dave Eggers?

Mr. Poon

I thought getting engaged would prevent Valentine's Day heartbreak... don't leave us, A3G!

(Happy V-Day...)
