Would-Be Luttigators Land on Their Feet

Article III Groupie has been a little preoccupied these days, so she apologizes if this "news" is a bit late and/or previously reported. Alas, she hasn't done a preemption check in the blawgosphere.

But, in response to her earlier query about where the displaced Luttig clerks for 2006-2007 might end up, A3G has learned the following:

(1) one of them has been hired by that Beantown uber-feeder, Judge Michael Boudin (1st Cir.); and

(2) as previously rumored, the other two -- one of whom is John Bash, Harvard '06 -- have been hired by newly confirmed Judge Brett Kavanaugh (D.C. Circuit).

Congratulations to this trio of legal geniuses on scoring their new positions!

I may have him confused with someone else, but I could have sworn that I'd heard John Bash will clerk for Scalia after his Kavanaugh stint.

Jen Mascot, GWU '06 Valedictorian and would-be Luttig clerk will be clerking for Thomas in OT 07.

And who else did Kavanaugh hire?

Interesting info. Thanks, A3G. Any info on the Alito and Roberts clerks for OT '06?

Just FYI, the Boudin clerk (Moshe Spinowitz, Harvard '06) will be clerking during 2007-08.
